Event Description
Racing at Whitstable every day from Monday 26th July to Thursday 29th July with a long distance race on Friday the 30th July. Food is available every day and entertainment every evening.
The is some basic accommodation in the club house but must be booked prior to arrival.
There are 26 Tasars at Whitstable at the moment so good tasar racing is guaranteed every day.
More information can be obtained on the Whitstable yc Website, you can watch the webcam on race days to see what is going on at the club'

Event Description
TORBAY WEEK RUNS FROM FRIDAY 20th AUGUST UNTIL THURSDAY 26th AUGUST 2010. THE LAST 2 YEARS TASAR SAILING HAS BEEN 8 RACES ON SAT., SUN., & MON. but formula for 2010 not finalised at present. I'll change as soon as known, in meantime contact John Lawton for more info etc.
3 races on saturday 21st and sunday 22nd [6 in total] plus a pursuit race on monday 23rd.
Fireworks monday night, Red Arrows on wednesday evening at 6pm

Event Description
The 2011 Tasar nationals are being held at Whitstable YC, Whitstable,Kent from the 3rd June 2011.
The event will be know as the Broad Oak BMW Tasar national championships 2011.
Details will be published nearer the time.

Event Description
The class has carried out on its intentions of holding the 2011 Worlds
by agreeing a venue and the dates of the event. The venue has been
provisionally agreed as taking place from the Royal Torbay Yacht Club
from Saturday 17th September to Friday 23rd of September 2011. This is
only provisional due to a lengthy approval process involving the World
Tasar Council, the RYA and ISAF.
It is the intention to hold the final night prize giving and closing ceremony on the Friday evening.
The last time the worlds were held in the UK there
were 100 entries and an entry limit has been set on the event of 100
boats so that all boats can be placed on the pier on the harbourside.
As
discussed at the UK AGM at the Nationals in 2008 the 2010 Nationals
will take place at the same venue on the dates of Friday 17th to Sunday
19th September.
