The UK Tasar Association is a subscription
membership organisation, access to this area is restricted according to the
type of membership you have.

Paying a subscription
is a demonstration by you that you see a value in having a strong Tasar
association. It is a demonstration that you want us to act on
your behalf. We are not promising any immediate significant new benefits
because you pay a subscription. We are promising the continuation of the
service and the gradual and ongoing improvement of the service already
provided.
The association costs money to run, it requires
significant effort from many individual to sustain. Money is needed to set
up and organise events, such as the UK Nationals and the Tasar Worlds, which
we are hosting in 2011 in Torbay. The three different memberships below have
been defined to allow you to participate to the level that
suits you. The more you want the more you pay even though the highest
level is still very inexpensive.
There are three types of UK Tasar Association
membership available, both the helm and crew must be full members of the
association to be eligible to participate in national or world events hosted
by the UK Tasar Association. A full member can live outside the UK and be a foreign
national.

An associate member can register their
ownership of a Tasar, access the main site and access certain
limited areas in the forum. Every member needs to register as an
associate to be able to register as a club or full member.

A club member has the access to the
site resources in a similar way to an associate member, and in
addition receives two mailed news letters per year one which follows
the AGM.
A club member subscription is £7.50
per year per sailor (helm and crew cost = £15.00).
A club member can advertise their club
events which they feel are relevant to Tasar sailors.

A full UK Tasar Association member subscription
is 12.00 per sailor per year
A Helm and Crew subscription is required for
participation in Nationals and Worlds hosted by the UK Tasar Association =
£24.00.

sailing, and social events.

eligible to participate in Tasar world championships hosted by the UK
Tasar association.
Will receive email news letters and any posted
news letter produced by the association.

Can advertise for free Tasars and Tasar
equipment, trailers etc., for sale or wanted on the Tasar web site.
Can access the the Tasar Association Member
Area, where they can add events, news and contact other members of the
association.
Can access all areas of the Tasar Association
Forum, reply to Topics, add new Topics and vote in polls.
*Other
conditions may also need to be met, if for example the number of competitors
is limited for any particular event, or the association committee feel that
other requirements are required.
On the 31st October all memberships of the
association will become inactive. You will need to activate your membership
by selecting the type of membership you want, you will need to confirm for
data protection purposes that the information we hold in our database is
correct, and that you agree to us using that information to send you mail
and emails from time to time. You will need to agree that we can use your
membership information if required by event sponsors.
